About Shultz's Guest House
Shultz's Guest House is a 501(c)(3) dog rescue shelter on 200 private acres in Dedham, MA. Surrounded by lush forests and serene ponds along the Charles River, it offers a secure, peaceful haven for dogs on their journey to the loving forever homes they deserve.
SGH rescues dogs found as strays, abandoned, or mistreated in the southern U.S., providing medical care, sheltering, and transport to their Dedham facility. There, they manage each dog's health needs, provide socialization, and help rebuild trust in people, while promoting spaying and neutering to end pet overpopulation and euthanasia.
The shelter is also a state-licensed private quarantine facility with room for up to 80 dogs. Each ‘guest’ enjoys daily walks, stimulation, and lots of love from a dedicated team of volunteers, helping them thrive as they transition to their permanent homes.
