About Great Dog Rescue New England
Since September 2003, Great Dog Rescue New England has placed more than 24,000 homeless and abandoned dogs in loving forever homes across New England. Every week, dozens of Southern Great Dogs ride a USDA-licensed transport north to their new forever and foster homes, arriving at the GDRNE isolation facility in Woburn, MA.
Beyond finding homes for dogs in need, GDRNE:
Donates to spay and neuter clinics in the South to help solve pet overpopulation
Engages in community outreach with local schools to teach kids and young adults about animal rescue, responsible pet ownership, and proper pet care
Adopts dogs to agencies that train them to assist people who are physically disabled or hearing impaired
